Yamaha R25 is the concept new small sports bike from the house of Iwata presented at the Tokyo Motor Show. The bike has now sparked the imagination of many fans, here's an example of how it could be the standard version equipped with headlights, turn signals, license plate, mirrors and passenger seat. The first hypothesis for the production version of the Yamaha R25 is undoubtedly one of the most interesting novelties of the last Tokyo Motor Show. The house of Iwata unveiled the concept of the small sports twin 250, which is discussed for over a year.
The R25 will have to see if the Kawasaki Ninja 300 and Honda CBR 300 R, although the sporty Yamaha seems likely to have a more sporting rivals. The R25 is a bike world and will debut in India and South America as well as Europe and the USA. The lines take up a bit 'those of MotoGP Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi M1di from which it borrows the large front air intake, the prototype is very nice and the fans were immediately triggered trying to predict how it might be the final version, with headlights, turn signals, mirrors, plate and place for the passenger.
After the golden age in which the two-stroke small engines were the dream accessible to every young person who wants to begin to breathe the smell of petrol, curves and curbs, with the advent of the four times this passion was gone from dying. The steering houses which date from KTM, Kawasaki or the same Honda, Yamaha brought to "take the field" in this back to the future, presenting the R25, 250cc supersport, which takes fully lines and stylistic features of the M1 by Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi.
Here is the R25 with two small headlights separated from the large central air intake. Arrows, mirrors, plate and exhaust coming from a YZF R6 , but it is very likely that the final elements should be very similar. The biggest doubt is the shape of the headlamps, Yamaha might choose to create a unique lighthouse and not two separate also to contain production costs.
Over the next year we should know something more, the final version may also be submitted in the second half of next year, although it must be noted that in February there will be the Auto Expo in Delhi, India, one of the most important fairs for the eastern markets and Indian in particular, we expect a few surprises .
