Woolrich Woolen Mills is taking us on a Tropical Getaway with its Spring Summer 2015 Collection. The new collection takes inspiration from the brand’s archives; Mark McNairy takes all the right elements of the past and give them a modern twist and silhouettes which can be seen from this collection. The SS15 collection features bold color, pattern, silhouettes with relaxed fit. Motifs such as toucans, Martinique leaves, heavy stripes, and re-envisioned camouflage are incorporated into the clothes to create a sleek but subtle illusion that leaves us wandering on a tropical hike. McNairy has worked his style into this collection, creating a fusion of streetwear clothes with outerwear clothes; making sure he covers all area of style, McNairy also includes the basics, such as an array of graphic tees, everyday basics and accessories that can be easily fitted into our closet. A few key pieces from the collection include: mountain parkas, pullover anoraks, and fishing vests, but he also introduces new pieces such as dropped bottom shorts and pants. More images on my blog.
