Dsquared2’s latest campaign proves you can look good even if you’ve been bad. Here’s what they had to say about the F/W 2014 line: “He’s a bad boy and it’s time to pay his dues. On the inside, confusion ruled by discipline with a glimpse into insanity. It’s a thug’s life, be tough, stay on the straight and narrow until parole.”
Twin brothers Dean and Dan Caten began Dsquared2 in 1984—a blend of Canadian, Italian, and English influences. Their edgy, luxurious style reaches new heights in this penitentiary-inspired collection; vivid oranges pop against neutral blacks and greys, oversized denim is layered on denim upon denim, leathers are rigid and structured, and stark whites are—just that: stark white.
A particularly eye-catching piece comes near the end of the collection in the form of a straightjacket-esque top, paired with nothing but white boxers underneath. I’m sure you can guess why we at The Underwear Expert love this look so much.
