Sustainable, eco-friendly fashion is not foreign. Since taking care of the environment and our planet as a whole became a major focus, there has been a market for those searching for environmentally friendly products. Waste comes in many forms, and ECOALF works to recycle waste for fashion.
Brand founder, Javier Goyeneche became frustrated with the excessive use of the world’s natural resources and in response came up with ECOALF, a technologically innovative brand that creates products out of state-of-the-art recycled materials. The name ECOALF, which comes from combining the word, ‘eco’ with Goyeneche’s son’s name, Alfredo, promotes the brand’s philosophy that design and manufacturing should help protect the present world and lay the ground work for future generations.
Bottles, fishing nets and coffee beans each account for 1 meter of ECOALF fabric, and their results – quilted accessories, water resistant and down outerwear, biodegradable bags and casual sneakers – will leave you awestruck knowing that they all came from our trash. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure right?
