The Road to Summer: What to Wear to the Beach

Ditch your boring board shorts—the Sharp Law shows us how to rock a bright, printed pair of swim trunks at the beach.

I can hardly believe it’s already the beginning April! Where does the time go?!?

Here in Southern California, spring tends to be one of our shortest seasons. By the time March hits temperatures sky rocket (last week it was in the 90’s). April tends to fly by with busy social calendars filled with musical happenings like Coachella. Before you know it, May rolls into June, and the time of year everyone yearns for is here!

Who can deny summer is the best time of year? In addition to amazing weather, longer days and weekend getaways to the beach, there’s a certain fun loving spirit that comes around during the summer months.

Continuing on our countdown to summer we’re focusing part two of our swimwear story on what to wear to beach.

I like to sport trunks with prints when heading to the beach to catch some rays. I think they can be a little more fun than solid shorts. The one’s I’m wearing are by Vilebrequin. I love the seahorse pattern! I like that they’re slightly more fitted and on the shorter side – which is more flattering to my body type than board shorts.

I paired them with a Vilebrequin polo, my go to Persols, and Giles & Brother bracelet for a classic beach look. Ready for that summer sun!
