Robert Geller’s Fall 2014 Menswear Collection is a bit extraordinary. Most of the collections shown seem to focus on the idea of warmth and richness but not this offering. Almost a bit-futuristic rocker, Geller uses unconventional materials, more specifically neoprene, rubber and rugged denims, in almost all of the garments. Mile high bucket hats, in various shades, accompany oversized military topcoats and sporty trainers, engulfing ultra skinny leggings. Pants set combos in rich jewel tones like plum, embrace color blocking while quilted shorts are layered over almost all of the trousers. Think Raf Simons outfitting David Bowie for a concert in 2025!
