MILITARY GRUNGE…Every now and then I like to channel my military days… camo and caps, desert boots and distressed denim…not at all missing the good ‘ole days, but certainly it’s cool to reminisce every now and then. I really loved finding this 20th Century – inspired,  World War I, military cap at Zara in Vegas several weeks ago…the shape is perfection and so high-fashion. And believe it or not, these are my first pair of Timberland boots…Never been in to the urban trend, but seems everyone of “us” are supposed to have at least one pair – hahaha! …Well, I’ve finally joined the ranks and they are incredibly comfortable. I paired both of these with this sleeveless denim shirt — notice the tribal-accented pocket flaps, these Koto camouflage pants I made into shorts, and one of my favorite exclusive jewelry pieces — this sick bullet-round bracelet I found from a dealer in Austin, TX — I’m not even sure if they’re still around. Then throwing it off a little…it’s a simple twist, but you can make anything grunge with a plaid or flannel shirt these days — it can easily take a look left and add some street punk swag. Think it gave this look a “left-face!”
