On a road trip this week all throughout New England. Today we are in New Haven, CT. Here on the campus of Yale, New Haven has the energy of a college town but the class of a very old Northeast city. It broke 70 degrees on this muggy day, but with clouds in the sky and rain imminent, I had to dress appropriately.
I went with the sailing shorts indicative of how close we are to the Atlantic. Also, I opted for a nautical stripe to play off of it. The heavier cotton shawl cardigan and the suede bucks provide a neutral and a little extra warmth when it cools down. The miansai bracelet and bold watch both adds to the nautical theme and adds some color too.
