Making the transition from starting a surfwear brand to creating sleek cut-and-sew, "menswear" clothing is a pretty tough thing to do. But don't tell that to Shawn Stussy. After starting his eponymous surf brand in the 80's and seeing it grow into a powerful global brand, he decided to take on a new challenge and create clothes for the older version of the "surfer kid" he was in his youth. Enter his new brand S/Double - and we have to say, this guy is proving to be a natural at this. The new collection for Fall/Winter isn't forced and it's not trying to do too much: awesome outerwear, wearable seperates, silhouettes that are dead-on and a couple of baseball caps to break up any perceived stiffness.
