I enjoyed a pretty relaxing long weekend in San Francisco last month and one place I love to visit is Four Barrel Coffee in the Mission District. It’s got an airy feel with masculine wood throughout and on my recent trip they’ve got a parklet set up out front which definitely expanded the often limited seating available in the popular shop.
While sipping my almond latte and fiddling around on the Maps app on my iPhone I found out that a brand I admire & have followed their mailing list for a bit, Taylor Stitch was located on the same block of Valencia.
It’s a handsome, small storefront neatly packed with an edited display of their wares, as well as an array of fabric swatches for their custom shirts. Friendly staff and an inviting environment round out the experience.
Even though the calendar is promising change and promotions from retailers are proudly touting their fall wares, it’s hard to get in the spirit of the upcoming season when the temperature reaches 102 here in Southern California. I’m actually looking forward to crisper air and being able to layer clothing with a hoodie from Alternative Apparel.
The latest hooded sweatshirt that I’d be happy to put in the mix is this number by the aforementioned Taylor Stitch that popped up in their email blast today.
They proudly make this product here in the Golden State. It comes in a tailored fit made with 9 oz French Terry in a beautiful shade of indigo. If I get my hands on one, I’ll let you know. Check out additional images on Taylor Stitch’s blog or purchase one here. All images by Taylor Stitch.
