Many people I have spoken to within the past have been confused about peptides. Peptides are proteins composed of long or shorter chains of amino acids, which basically helps build protein. In skincare, they can rejuvenate and lift skin, help decrease the dark circles around the eyes and decrease the appearance in lines.

Here's the thing: Don’t expect to apply and have everything magically disappear. As much as we would all love that to happen, unfortunately life is just not that easy! If you do want a younger complexion, you cannot just rely on peptides—the skin requires a lot more ingredient’s to help create firmer and youthful looking skin.

Still, peptides can help: they tell skin cells that damage has been done and repair is needed. For best results, you will need to use the product for minimum 12 weeks until you start seeing changes in your skin's complexion.

I have recently been using the Imedeen Derma one skin supplement which contains marine complex / peptides you take two a day. After a month, I can already start noticing differences within my skin.

My appearance is much more radiant, and I tend to have more of a natural glow. I also suffer with heavy looking eyes, as they are a bit deep set, but I have been using a peptide eye serum from Rogue and it's magical—it helps my eyes look a lot more relaxed and reduce the appearance of under-eye bags.

So guys, the answer is if you are confused about using peptides, don’t hesitate! They do have a lot of benefits...you just need to be patient.
