So I had the opportunity to attend Fashion Week in person this year and let me just tell you, I wasn't ready. I mean, of course I was expecting amazing swimwear from Parke & Ronen (and they delivered), but what I wasn't expecting, was the equally amazing knits and jackets that came down the runway as well.
This being my first fashion week experience, I was amazed at how pictures don’t do the clothes justice. Don’t get me wrong, the clothes do look great in the pictures, but it lacks the movement and it loses some of the details. But coming back to this show specifically, I felt like Parke & Ronen’s knit tank tops and polo’s were absolutely amazing.
Throughout the entire collection there was no shortage of color or prints. From floral to nautical stripes to plaid to geometric… every print was sophisticated and well placed and combined with the light color palette and the fits of the clothes, I was getting a retro French Riviera vibe from the collection that was quite enticing.
I feel like I should point out that the jacket in my favorite look (above) needs to be in my closet ASAP… also the white pants with the stripe on the side… and also the knit polo’s and tanks -- so pretty much the entire collection needs to magically appear in my closet.
I could keep talking about how great I think this collection is but I want to hear what you guys have to say. Tell me what you think below!
And here are some more of my favorite looks:
