Not-So-Basic Basics

Wardrobe basics don't have to be so...basic.

Basics don't have to be so basic... When it comes to my go-tos in my wardrobe, it's definitely a rotating flow of tees, caps, and denim. The collection that has gathered in my closets is endless and always seems to take over my day-to-day attire. Especially on my end of week hustle of tying up loose ends before meeting up with friends for a couple of cheers and comparing the weeks' work struggles.

Thankfully, Uniqlo sent over some LifeWear basics to upgrade my rotation! If you're a denim a day kinda guy at least upgrade to some selvedge denim. These from Uniqlo are the perfect spring wash that won't leave you washed out. Plus the slightly more relaxed straight fit isn't too uptight for the warmer days ahead. When it comes to the tees, take it one step further with a preppy polo like this Ultra Dry Pique Polo... not only great fitting, but the breathable fabric will keep you dry and cool while trekking around the city finishing up those end of week meetings. Like I said... basics don't have to be so basic! Happy Friday friends!
