Around the city, you’ll spot his work on murals and in alleyways. The beauty about his artwork is that is it easily transferable to the sneaker world, and the adidas Originals’ Stan Smith, a pop-culture piece in its own right, worked as the perfect canvas.

We had the chance to take a look at Antoine Tava’s Stan Smiths at footwear retailer Browns last week and above are some images recapping the event. The music for the evening was supplied by Toddy Flores, a self-professed sneakerhead, along with bites and cocktails from Old-Port restaurant Santos.

What you’ll appreciate about the sneakers is that each pair is hand painted by the artist himself and can be decorated according to your taste.

Learn more about Antoine Tava and head over to the Browns location on Saint-Catherine to get your own custom pair.
