Last days to write about raincoats and a very good time to get equipped with one (of the best) for next winter.
Alexander Stutterheim‘s ambition is to create the raincoat “you will ever need”.


The Stockholm based designer creates an updated version of the traditional raincoat worn by generations of Swedish fishermen. “Feeling blue”, writes Stutterheim in his moody website, “inspires creativity”. So why not embrace a little bit of Swedish melancholy added with a minimal, functional and sleek look.
Each coat is made with most with attention to details from rubberized cotton and hand-sewn (and signed) by a seamstress in the small town of Boras.
The Garçonnière is ready embrace Swedish melancholy and hoping for rain in April in Tel Aviv is a good start.
