Yesterday, I attended LACOSTE’S SS15 Runway show – the show was packed and filled with many celebrities from the likes of Jesse Metcalfe, Edy Ganem, RJ Mitte, DJ Cassidy, Tiësto, just to name a few. The show was held at Mercedes Benz Lincoln Centre Theatre.
For the Spring Summer 2015, Felipe takes a different approach than what he normally does. He introduces a collection that’s versatile, functional and technical. He combines sporty element with urban element thus resulting in a collection that’s visually pleasing and modern at the same time. Everything can be worn as a whole or separately and you can also do the mix-and-match; by doing so, it gives you the freedom to create your own style within the LACOSTE realm.
Fitted silhouette is combined with a slightly oversized silhouette to create that layering effect that’s rich in colour and offers a definite clean cut. Bold and electric colour palette, such as red, blue, orange, lilac, deep purple is incorporated. Luxurious fabrics such as light cotton veil, subtle tie & dye denim, micro gingham, “caviar” piqué, technical double-faced canvases, as well as nautical stripes that are knitted from two threads or appliqué lace are used as well; with everything seems to compliment each other effortlessly. Felipe gives us style in his SS15 collection without sacrificing comfort and quality.

Ermenegildo Zegna SS15 Collection
By Vincent Ko
Who would have thought that contradictory elements would come together to create a stunning collection? Well, Stefano Pilati, the genius behind Ermenegildo Zegna’s SS15 collection is the answer! Straying away from the previous two collections, Pilati, drew inspirations from Architecture and Space; from there he develops the two even further.
