London-based urbanwear Komakino unleashed its latest collection in Paris at a studio-like venue where I got a chance to do a semi-editorial shoot. I have to admit I personally prefer presentations over runway shows. Why? Because you get to examine the garments up-close and personal. And you get to take as much photos as you please. And of course, the designer is always on stand-by just in case you have any intelligent questions in mind!
Komakino's latest offering included covetable bomber jackets, muscle tanks, logo tees, short shorts, utility trousers and basic button-downs in mostly black and beige with neon pink and yellow accents. The self-explanatory"High Tech Low Life" catchphrase was all over the collection as well as some interesting cut-outs with contrasting lining for a more dramatic effect.
