Introducing: Robert Kerr
Looking back at the last 4 years, one of the most interesting aspects of working as a blogger has been the amazing people I’ve come across: from fellow bloggers, to designers and journalists, most of them had an interesting and inspiring story to tell. I’m happy to say quite a few have become not only colleagues but good friends as well. It never ceases to amaze me how such different life journeys ended up bringing us all together, out of love for a common interest: menswear. Having strayed from the traditional path myself, I have a particular admiration for all who decide to follow their dreams and devote their lives to making it happen.
Robert Kerr is a brand that embodies all that love, sweat and tears…Created out of passion for luxury menswear acessories and a strong will to perpetuate a family heritage, Robert Kerr materializes the very essence of style, elegance and tradition. Thomas Drischel, the brand’s founder, left his position as General Manager for Galeries Lafayette, to pursue his lifelong dream and pay tribute to his grandfather, a former sailor-turned-tailor who introduced his grandson to the world of tailoring and craftsmanship.
Aiming to deliver the utmost luxury in all its accessories, Robert Kerr sources the finest materials such as vintage Italian silk or Dormeuil cashmere to produce an impressive range of scarves, ties and pocket squares. Handcrafted by master artisans, each piece reflects a striking attention to detail found only in those who strive for perfection. Some of the most impressive pieces are undoubtedly the vintage silk scarves, an ode to class, elegance and ultimate luxury, that turned heads during the latest edition of Pitti Uomo. This beige version with contrasting brown and navy paisley pattern is a perfect example…
