American Crew recognizes the growing number of men that are concerned with their appearance and who want to look their very best. This trend of image-conscious men spans all ages and backgrounds.
Hey what sup guys! Are you familiar with American Crew? If not listen up.
I have been trying out 7 American Crew hair products for the last 2 months. Take a look at what each one does and my favorites. Im pretty excited to start using some of these daily from now on!
Medium hold with high shine.
This did the trick for me. It holds well and its for curly hair. This is just the hair style I look to achieve daily so it was perfect. The texture of this is pretty light once you put it into your hair, compared to Fiber.
Pliable fiber with high hold and low shine.
It provides texture with added thickness and a matte finish. This one did not achieve the exact look I wanted. I knew that before I even tried it, anything with a matte finish doesn’t work out for me. It was also a little bit to rubbery for me.
Its great if you want the slick back look though.
Medium hold with medium shine.
The forming cream is for all hair types. So if you are pretty unsure which one to purchase start with this one first. I used this one after Fiber and it lasted all day.
Firm Hold Styling Gel:
Used for styling and holding.
Although I would love to style my hair and not have it move all day I did not like how dry my hair had gotten after. My hair often dried up by 1pm and to achieve the smooth shine I would have to put Pomade in it.
Provides a flexible style and gives you control of your image. One product for both uses.
This is great for on-the-go. At anytime you can just pull it out and restyle your hair if needed. I try to stay away from spray because it holds my hair down but this was weightless, compared. If your looking to restyle your hair easily try this out.
Daily Moisturizing Shampoo:
I use this shampoo about 3-4 days a week. This does not over dry your hair like most shampoos do and leaving it flaky. Another plus is that this is for any hair type as well. I actually have 2 female friends that use this shampoo and they couldn’t stop talking about how great it is.
3 in 1 Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash:
I like to keep my shampoo, conditioner, and body wash separate. I find that most products fail to deliver all 3 or there is something lacking. I found that the 3-in-1 definitely wins when it comes to conditioning, which is what I use it for. I would not recommend it solely for body wash and shampoo but all three works like it says!
I usually use it once or twice a week just to switch it up.
On a day to day basis my favorites are the Pomade, Forming Cream and Alternator, and Moisturizing Shampoo. All provide shine and a medium hold but still flexible enough and won’t dry my hair out. All products have proven to deliver what it says, but these are the best choices for my hair.
Have you used any American Crew products before? Which ones? How do you like them?
