… aaand FYI: I’m 6’2″, with a skinny, athletic body-type, wearing a true US10 or EU43.

With the rise of the fashion watch, a guy needs more: more than just metals, more than leather, more than rubber… Wood! Beautiful, natural, different. Original Grain generously hooked me up with my first one and I’m in love. This watch is handmade from reclaimed whiskey barrel wood (!!!) in combination with the brushed steel in an espresso color. A gorgeous watch for casually dressed-up looks, just like I like ’em. I went with a pair of pants, and shoes matching the colors of the watch and introduced some blue with the shirt, which I repeated with the choice of the tie. All of this went down in Stockholm by the way, so you definitely haven’t seen this background on my blog yet — ’cause I’ve never been. And it’s awesome ;)

Although Original Grain is an established company, they launched a kick-starter for this new collection where you can get these watches at really good deals — you get two of them if you donate $249 or more, just as an example! So go take a look!
