In a recent interview with Man Of The Hour Magazine, I was talking about how much I loved Versace’s FW 2014 Men’s Collection. The use of “bandana” patterns on t-shirts and underwear is phenomenal, the leather chaps, the bomber jackets and the opulence of the coats, fantastique! Donatella did an excellent job.

But she wasn’t the only one inspired by American heritage; from Karl Lagerfeld to Philipp Plein designers say, “howdy” to the western trend this season. Obviously this is not a style every man could wear, but I can pull the Brokeback Mountain look off very well don’t you think?

They key to achieve this look without looking like a character from an old Clint Eastwood movie is to wear a piece or two at a time. A red plaid pattern shirt screams wrangler while you can’t go wrong with the typical cowboy hat. #heeya
