Style blogger Dan Hasby-Oliver gives us a sneak peek at the spacious, yet elegant document cases and holdalls from dunhill's spring 2015 collection.

A couple of weeks ago on a very hot, slightly suffocating, day in London, I took refuge in the decadent home of dunhill in Mayfair; Bourdon House on Davis Street. Leased from The Duke of Westminster, and one of the last remaining mansions in Mayfair, dunhill have created a divine environment for their made-to-measure suiting, ready-to-wear, special projects archive, barber, restaurant and of course, leather goods and luggage.

Sitting in the garden bar, dunhill's team told me of the heritage and craft behind the collections as well as the automotive inspiration that originates from Alfred Dunhill's primary vision of auto accessories. From here, I was invited to take a closer look at and showcase the new SS15 collection in my own way. What an invitation.

As I live in what can be described as one of the most beautiful cities in the world - Bath - I found the backdrop of the Georgian architecture of The Royal Crescent a very suitable location to present the carbon fiber printed Chasis Document Case in Green, Boston Grained Leather Document Case in Tan, Guardsman Leather and Nylon Holdall in Navy and Brown, and the Boston Linen and Leather Holdall in Navy. Imagining a decadent get away, with views over the rolling hills of the Somerset city, I was very honored to get to experience this exceptional collection that fuses the best of craftsmanship and heritage from a very masculine, strong British brand.
