Fall has definitely made an appearance with a series of rainstorms last week. I got away with wearing these rugged waterproof chukka boots from Timberland. Not only do they hold up in serious rain, they don’t crease up when you walk (you know what I mean). This boot for me is a more formal version of the Classic boot we are all familiar with. Although I should have went with a raincoat over my denim on denim look I still managed to survive in the rain with just an umbrella.
The fleece lined denim jacket pictured here is super warm. I love that I have some warmth on the inside and don’t have to layer as much. These are my 3rd pair of selvage denim and although they look really awesome and structured they’re a little too stiff for me. Id advise washing them first if you’re not used to selvage, and thats what I will be doing to make them a little more comfy. The knee design is cool and adds some personality to the structured pant. As you see, the denim on denim trend is so easy to rock and you cant go wrong. Its also not the first time you’ve seen it on the blog, I wore it here this Spring as well. Choose any shirt to pair with this look, its up to you. I chose a striped oxford shirt. I like having the option to take off my jacket and still remain somewhat formal.
Timberland’s message is ‘Rugged and Refined’ suits my whole Fall ’15 wardrobe. Lucky for me I don’t have to think about it to much because this is pretty much my style for Fall. View more of of the Fall collection here and tell me your thoughts.
