I completed my Herschel travel set about eight months ago after making a purchase from one of Urban Outfitter's many sale sur sales. It was the Parcel luggage in black which plunged from a hefty $240 to a less intimidating and hyper-reasonable $80 (with the help of an extra 50% off sale items, of course). It didn't take long before I added to cart and proceeded to check out, completing my shoppers marathon with a measly flick of the finger to confirm my order. With the black Survey Backpack, complementary Seventeen Hip Pack, cotton canvas Market Tote with leather detailing, Geo Field Pouch and corresponding packable journey duffel I would face the wayfarer way of life I do not have, in style.

As an avid supporter of the brand with a taste for all things minimal and monochromatic, it's to no surprise that I am absolutely jazzed about the Studio SS15 collection. Slap the S word on just about anything and expect refined aesthetic in comparison to it's counterparts (read Acne Studios, H&M Studio, Zara Studio, etc.). Herschel does not disappoint.

Redefining five classic silhouettes, the Studio collection explores an industrial grade tarpaulin textile finished with welded seams and waterproof zippers. Available in two color ways, the black styles pair with monochromatic finishes while the white feature contrasting details such as smooth leather zip pulls and screen printed logo IDs. With price tags ranging from $30 to $130, purchasing the full set seems feasible, however tear inducing as I reflect on the amount of damage it will do on my bank account.

At least these bad boys are water resistant.
