Discovering Paris from a Locals Point of View
Let me introduce you to one of my fondest Parisian friends, Capucine of Babillages. I met her my first time around in Paris during the month of June after coming across her Instagram and instantly falling in love with her style plus adorable charm. Luckily for me, she enjoyed my work as well and we were able to meet for coffee. We kept in touch even after I left Paris as she quickly became an instant friend of mine.
When I went back to Paris last week, I was super excited to meet up with her again. First we had breakfast at Ladurée, and then we had this delicious lunch at Bespoke Cocktail Bar & Restaurant in her neighborhood of the 11th arrondissement that she had been wanting to try. The space was warm and comfortable (not to forget their food was delicious!); the employees were even really joyful. So much so they wanted to be apart of our experience documenting our lunch. They helped take photos and wanted to be in a photo as well. This my friends is why I love the French, they are SO NICE! Despite many preconceived notions, the French really are nice. I can testify on their behalf. So much, having lunch with Capucine actually made me quite sad to be leaving Paris for Berlin. Knowing that I had a genuine friend in such a beautiful city was hard for me to leave. But I know anytime I’m back in Paris, Capucine will be there to hangout in another delicious cafe.
Lastly, Capucine may not be a fashion blogger, she’s actually a beauty blogger. None-the-less, I brought her out of her comfort zone for an outfit photo as I think she’s a fashion blogger natural! You can find hers and my outfit credits below.
Have a great weekend everyone! :)

One Last White Outfit Before Labor Day
By Freddy Rodriguez
In the states we all use Labor Day as a date for many things (back to school, end of summer, extended last weekend to party in Hamptons), but in fashion it’s declaring the last day to wear white jeans or in my case shorts.
