Sharon & Ted Burdett of Strand Design have designed a multitude of functional & beautiful objects fabricated right here in Chicago. The award-winning design team are one of 100 luminaries included in the Design Chicago exhibit currently at the Chicago Cultural Center, celebrating a passionate spirit and fearless pursuit that challenges conformity, engages and inspires. Several of their latest furniture designs embellish the big screen in the blockbuster film Divergent. Videographer Samer Almadani, composer John Kamys and myself are delighted to share our collaboration showcasing some of their recent work.
