Let’s face it when it comes to winter, you want to keep your entire body warm and cozy at all times. Often when doing that, we sacrifice style for comfort. Well… this will all change very soon as Converse has just announced its first ever All Star Chuck ’70 Down Jacket Sneakers yesterday morning. If you’re in Canada, I’m sure you have seen so many people wearing Canada Goose jackets during the winter and spring season because they’re comfortable and it keeps you warm without having to wear so many clothes. I’m not sure why many companies haven’t incorporated the down and feather materials to their shoes but major kudos to Converse for doing this. When it comes winter, the one thing that I dislike the most is having to wear so many clothes to keep me warm, luckily I have a great jacket to keep me warm all season long, so, I don’t need to wear a few layers under my jacket.
The All Star Chuck ’70 Down Jacket Sneaker is padded with 80 – 20 ratio down and feathers for quality, comfort and of course to keep your feet warm and cozy. The upper design features a nylon material with quilted accent for that posh look. For maximum warmth and protection, the sneaker also features micro suede lining. The details on this shoes are sharp and impeccable. These shoes will be available for purchase starting November 28, 2014 at Baggins, Gravity Pope, Capsule, Community 54 and Lost & Found in Canada $110 CAD.
For US consumers, they will be available at select Converse retail stores, Converse.com, UNDFTD in Los Angeles, JUICE in Shanghai, and SOTO in Berlin for a suggested retail price of $100 USD.
