The Julius silhouette is making its Nudie Jeans debut this Spring 2014. The fit is best explained as a blend of west-coast Swedish heritage and brand’s pioneered cut.
The inspiration for this piece came from an old fisherman’s jacket, which is fabricated from a cool grey twill cotton, with brushed white lumi coating on top.
The sleeve setting has been uniquely made with side seam removed and swapped with inserted gussets are merged with the pattern piece of the sleeve. This gives the garment a slightly billowed, yet streamlined silhouette.
The jacket is finished off with four square pockets and with antique buttons on the same placket as the original fisherman’s jacket Julius is based on.
The Julius is also available in a muted black cotton canvas.
